Bell & Williams Associates, Inc. was founded in 2008 by Salvatore Bellia & William Moriarty. Bell & Williams provides repossession, collection, and remarketing services to consumer & commercial clients across the nation. Today Bell & Williams is made up of some of the most seasoned professionals in the collections and recovery industry.
Sal Bellia– Sal Bellia is the Chief Executive Officer of Bell & Williams Associates, responsible for overseeing all facets and direction of the organization. He co-founded the company in 2008 and with the support and partnership of co-founder and President William Moriarty, has grown BWA into a national, multi-tiered repossession management firm representing captive lenders, national banks, and credit unions. He brings nearly twenty years of operations, sales, finance, and client service experience to his position.
William Moriarty– William Moriarty is one of the co-founders and the President of Operations for Bell & Williams Associates. William has 11 years of experience in the collections and repossession space. William’s strongest attribute is that he has a real knack for identifying and locating talent to become integral players of the Bell & Williams’ team. William is also very much an entrepreneurial minded individual with an ultra-competitive spirit.
William graduated from Ithaca College in 1994 with a degree in business management. In his spare time William enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children.
Adam Herbert– Adam Herbert (VP of Business Development) is seasoned sales executive with knowledge of both the repossession and collections industry. Having successfully partnered with some of the largest nationwide lenders in the country, Adam, prides himself on understating the importance of being a conduit for his clients – relaying their clients to the appropriate BWA staff, and seeing those needs through to completion.
Adam graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2000 with a degree in history.
Zachary Hunt– Zachary Hunt (Operations Supervisor) has 5 years of direct repossession experience. He prides himself on his close relationships with a vast nationwide network of repossession agents, which allows him to leverage a competitive advantage over our competition. He manages a team of 15 repossession specialists. Zach is directly responsible for monitoring their recovery rates, procedures, queue maintenance and all other day to day operations.
Jeff Fryou– Jeff Fryou (Operations Supervisor) is a 28 year veteran of the repossession and collection industry. Jeff’s forte is in the area of compliance, particularly statutory repossession laws, CFPB guidance, and FDCPA. He manages team of 15 repossession specialists. Jeff is directly responsible for monitoring their recovery rates, procedures, compliance, and queue maintenance.
Dan Hastie– Dan Hastie is the Compliance Officer of Bell & Williams Associates. Dan oversees the companies Compliance and Vendor Risk Management Programs. Dan is an accomplished banking services executive with over 15 years’ industry experience in planning, developing and overseeing programs that ensure regulatory and legal compliance, business continuity and vendor management. Dan has led effective employee training programs and has a strong Information Technology background. Dan is passionate about risk management principles and strives to ensure that all services provided either directly or indirectly meet or exceed our client’s compliance and risk management expectations.
